Some of the managers wait for a year before they appreciate the employees’ potential. Little do they know that the long wait for recognition makes their employees impatient, making way for negativity to come in which results in a reduced productivity. That’s why it’s highly recommended to do your best to appreciate your employees as often as you can. It will not only boost their confidence, but it’ll also invoke a positive environment and will surely motivate them to stay happy while working.

2. Don’t Micromanage 👬




Micromanaging can lower someone’s motivation and the overall confidence of the team. Employees will feel that someone's restricting their ability to develop their skills and achieve their full potential. That’s why it is better if you let your employees work without constant monitoring because it’ll help them develop greater confidence in their abilities, plus, they’ll be much happier with their jobs.


3. Build Trust 👏




All the employees want to be trusted. Sometimes they enjoy the given responsibility because it displays that you’re confident enough to trust their abilities. Lack of trust can leave employees feeling insecure and it can also affect the motivation levels. But, by having this trust means that there’s a lesser chance that you would micromanage them, and of course, it also creates a culture of accountability to make sure things are getting done.


4. Create Opportunities For Growth 👍




If you want your employees continue being engaged and motivated at work, you need to provide them with opportunities to progress within their jobs. Career development is one of the most important factors to influence an employee satisfaction. You can do this by having advanced education, training, or even just by providing the knowledge that there is potential for promotion within their job position.


5. Regularly Discuss Good News  💁




Normally, the purpose of the meeting is to discuss what went wrong, the shortcomings, what’s been missing or the bad events that happened, and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s totally fine to address these issues and make an action to resolve it, but you also have to remember that sometimes you need to switch it up by holding meeting to share the positive news. It’ll motivate your employees to create and share positive vibes to the whole team!
